ALTアドヴァンス(ALT+)検定について
ALTアドヴァンス(ALT+)は、日本の小学校・中学校・高等学校で算数・数学・理科の授業を支えるALT(外国語指導助手)のための実践型評価です。日本語で行われる授業の意図を正確に理解し、それを子どもたちに分かりやすい英語で伝えながら、授業全体の流れを支える力を評価します。多文化背景の学習者や、教科学習に不安を抱える子どもたちに寄り添う姿勢も重視しています。
検定の目的
ALT+は、日本の学習指導要領に沿った教科内容の理解を前提に、授業を支えるための実践的な言語コミュニケーション力を評価します。英語力だけでなく、教科理解、学習者への丁寧な言語支援、日本人教員との協働力を総合的に測定します。教室での「橋渡し役」としてのALTの役割を可視化し、安心して学べる環境づくりに貢献することを目指しています。

About the ALT Advance (ALT+) Assessment
The ALT Advance (ALT+) Assessment is a practical evaluation designed for Assistant Language Teachers who support Mathematics and Science classes in Japanese elementary, junior high, and senior high schools. It measures the ability to accurately understand lesson intentions delivered in Japanese and to communicate them in clear, learner-friendly English while supporting the overall flow of the class.
